According to the government
spokesman, the policy makers in
Iran, have come to conclusion and
anticipated to provide 6500 gas
consumer coaches in which 3000 have
already bean delivered to the
municipalities inside the country
and 1,5000 vans and 12,500
minibuses as well as 30,000 taxis as
public transportation, which have
already been requested and
registered by the clients to obtain.
Other important project in hand are
metro (underground) and rail way in
which these project are being
performed in Tehran as well as other
cities which is being constructed,
supporting these projects will help
considerably and is required for
most of the majored cities on
neighborhood needs.
On the base of presented clause of
13th a sum of Billion 3570 Rials
which is equivalent to $150 m has
been allocated by the authorities in
order to discard old vehicles, and
now the rail infrastructure of the
country is approximately 10m Tones a
year, according to the spokesman of
ministry of road and rail the
country is under the cover of 7000
km of electrical rail system which
connect the Persian Gulf from the
south to Amir Abbad port in Caspian
sea in the north of the country .
According to the hard data it shows
that Iran has the capability of
transferring the amount of 20.m
tones of goods annually to the
neighboring countries in which only
11.M tones out of 20m tones capacity
is being used at the moment,
Considering the 200 thousand heavy
vehicle and 38 thousand passenger
liner cars being active in 4800
shipping and transportation
companies and 2350 passenger liner
companies and the quantity of 437 M
tones of goods with the total
number of 786 M people transported
through out the country as well as
International destination has been
all executed by the public
transportation.
There are 60 air ports through out
the country in which only 9 of then
are International and capable of
providing good services Globally as
well as regional services. yet again
considering the 84000 Km of motor
way with 24 terminals and car pools
on the roads has made a continent
possibilities in transit,
transportation for both passengers
as well as transferring cargos. |
